May 27, 2010 -- Penobscot Marine Museum hosted a successful exhibit of photography last week that was the subject of a fine article in the Waldo County Republican Journal. "Then and Now" paired historic photos of Waldo County communities with student photos of the same scenes from the present day. As the article explains, the project wasn't nearly as straightforward as it seems, and it provided a great springboard for students to engage in oral history research.
